ARX recently participated in the first South by Southwest (SXSW) Wellness Expo held in THREE Years! This year’s conference was held in Austin, TX on March 12th and 13th.

The SXSW Wellness Expo gathers thousands of SXSW attendees to explore and interact with this rapidly-growing field. The event featured three distinct programming areas offering the opportunity for attendees to expand their wellness knowledge by participating in discussions and classes relevant to the industry.

Innovation Never Sleeps

When you spend so many years around your own technology, it’s easy to become myopic and allow the incredible to seem standard. ARX’s superiority compared to other strength training tools is an old hat to us, but these conferences always give us a great opportunity to live vicariously through those who are just discovering ARX for the first time.

That first properly-loaded eccentric.

That unique burn and fatigue at the end of your first set.

The incredulous look when we point out that the degree of exercise stimulus they just received—equivalent to over half an hour of sets in the gym—took less than two minutes.

These are the things we love to see, and that will never get old.

It Takes A Village

We don’t produce our technology in a vacuum. The movement towards restoring the public’s health is an effort that goes far beyond ARX’s technology, so we are always very eager to check out other exhibitors to discover what else people are working on. Here now, in no particular order, are some of our favorites!

Kalyagen’s Stemregen: The World’s Best Stem Cell Enhancer

In the mix at this year’s conference was Christian Drapeau and his team, promoting his Stemregen product. Stemregen can provoke the production and release of the body’s own stem cells within the bone marrow, making the exogenous injection of stem cells cumbersome, expensive, and unnecessary by comparison.

They use pre-sprouted plants, and work with seedlings to provide you with a three-week headstart and increase growing success rates. You can choose from 50+ varieties of non-GMO veggies, fruits, edible flowers, and herbs.

What Gets Measured Gets Managed

There are a few different companies in the home blood testing space, but we were impressed with LetsGetChecked at the show this year.

They have all the pertinent tests, the pricing is good, shipping times are efficient, and their service is more and more needed as people continue to take their health into their own hands instead of just trusting their primary care physician to order all the necessary tests.

The King of The Red / Infrared Saunas

Joining us for yet another show were our good friends at SaunaSpace.

SaunaSpace provides red, infrared, and sauna therapy through the use of full-spectrum incandescent heat bulbs. This is a unique offering in the red-light space, as products will typically utilize LEDs that only represent one, two, or sometimes three different nanometer-lengths of light.
